On this episode, the Brothers talk about how a robust doctrine of the Trinity is beneficial to our practical piety. Although a simple confession is just fine, it is a sign of growing maturity to be able to go deeper.

The Trinity is a mysterious topic. It's okay if you don't understand it all. A basic articulation of the faith is okay. The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are distinct persons, but are also one God. This suffices for a first introduction to what Christians believe about God.

God reveals himself to us not only in Jesus Christ, but also in three persons. To really understand what it means that Jesus died for you, we have to get past a surface level reading of Scripture and get into how God has always revealed himself to us. This podcast episode will help you explore how the doctrine of the Trinity shapes everything about how we understand who God is and why he does what he does.
