TRB 129 Question Cast, Volume 13

03/27/2019

It's time for Question Cast!

Alex: Alex’s friend contends that the difference between orthodox Christology and neo-apollinarianism is a fundamental disagreement on what it means to be man. In the neo-apollinarianism schema Christ took on a full human nature but that human nature did not include the mind. How would we argue against that claim and articulate an orthodox anthropology?

Jimmy: Have we previously encountered the contention that fathers and husbands are ‘pastors’ of their own households? Is this Biblical?

Jamie: Some argue that we cannot know the resolve of our love for and fidelity to Christ without the testing that comes through persecution. Can we have genuine assurance that we do love Christ without such a test and where would we find such support in the Bible? Can we be sure that if faced with persecution we will endure?

Pete: What are our thoughts on intinction?
